In this guide, you will learn everything you need to know to create custom signs for your organization or business!
Creating images in the exact right size can be tricky. To make this easier, we have created a dedicated tool that helps you crop and resize your images automatically to fit any prop in the game.

> Tip: This tool runs locally in your browser. It helps you crop images to the perfect aspect ratio before you upload them.

Forbidden Content:
> Note: Staff has the final say on what is acceptable. Do not use other players' images without permission.
The upload process has been simplified. You no longer need third-party hosts like Imgur.
Step 1: Create your Design
Use software like Photoshop, GIMP, or Paint.NET. Set your canvas size to match the resolution in the table above (e.g., 1024x512 for a standard sign).
Step 2: Prepare the Image (Optional)
Use the Perpheads Image Tool to verify your image has the correct aspect ratio and crop it if necessary. Download the processed image from the tool.
Step 3: Upload to API
Step 4: Approval Status
Once uploaded, your image enters a review queue. You can check the status in-game or via the API.
| Dot Color | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Orange Dot | Pending: Waiting for approval from a Senior Moderator+. |
| Green Dot | Approved: The image is live and visible to everyone. |
| Red Dot | Declined: The image violated Rule 2.9 (check the rules above). |
Step 5: Use In-Game
E.Q: How long does approval take?
A: It varies. Only Senior Moderators and above can approve images. It can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours.
Q: My image got declined, why?
A: Review Rule 2.9. Common reasons include low quality, HUD elements visible in screenshots, or inappropriate content.
Q: Can I use someone else's design?
A: No. You must have permission to use another player's work. Stealing designs can lead to punishment and removal of the image.
Q: What does "Locked" / "Unlocked" mean in-game?
A: Unlocked: You can change the image by pressing E.
Locked: You must hold Shift + E to change the image.
> Tip: Lock your images in public spaces (like Casinos) so you don't accidentally open the edit menu when trying to pick up money or items dropped on the table.
